The terrace has a stunning view from the crest of the hill over the surrounding forest and valleys. The service staff was extremely nice and courteous.

Its location was central, right next to a room museum. It was next to a castle and a fortress.

This hotel claims to offer a superior experience, yet I was only given a cramped room that seemed like a closet. The AC didn't work, and I had to suffer through exterior noise. I also expected special treatment for these inconveniences, but that was nowhere to be found. How disappointing! I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

starting from this special place with its grandiose location and the panoramic view, the hotel was beautifully embedded in the landscape and between the houses. We were amazed and enthusiastic.

Excellent location, with unique view while having breakfast on the terrace. In Marvao the Dom Dinis has I would say the best location. The breakfast was really great, a good selection with delicious Portuguese cheese. The staff was very good humoured and friendly.
The hotel is not very charming. Everything's old, a little ragged. Our room was on the ground floor, it was a bit too dark.

Dom Dinis Marvao is situated in a fantastic location that offers fine views down to the valley. The friendly staff were very accommodating, providing helpful dining recommendations and assisting with parking arrangements. The breakfast was enjoyable. The hotel was easy to navigate to, and parking was convenient, especially late in the day.
Noise from the road can be noticeable.

Delicious breakfast, nice terrace, friendly staff.
in the room (12) there was too too much furniture. Heavy armchair was completely unnecessary. Little storage space available. Jaccuzzi was completely superfluous and spoiled the beautiful terrace view.

Clean, cozy and comfortable place. It is located near the castle. The view from the terrace is excellent. We stayed there during a festival and enjoyed watching bullfight. The owner is very kind and friendly. Access to Marvao is not so good and it takes relatively long time from Lisbon but it is worth to visit for us.

This hotel has an optimal location inside Marvao. It is a very nice place for someone who wants to stay with the walls of Marvao. The hotel is quite small (only 9 rooms) so we can not except a lot of services but it is full of charm and the staff is really nice and helpful. It is very easy to park the car just outside the hotel which is clearly a plus in a place with the characteristics of Marvao. The breakfast is simple but I liked it.

Casa Dom Dinis is a charming hotel in an old building full of character at the top of Marvao, a beautiful village inside the walls of an old castle. Despite the affordable price, everything in this hotel is of the highest quality. We were sorry to leave and would like to go back.

The location turned out to be great, right by the castle and restaurants which had excellent food and very reasonable prices, and dramatic Marvao. Because of a problem with queen room we were upgraded and had an airy room with amazing views.
